As an HR Generalist at Expance, you will be instrumental in managing a wide array of human resource functions. This role encompasses various aspects of HR including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a versatile and experienced professional capable of handling multiple facets of HR to support our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel; assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when needed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Develop and maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the database.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of HR, including employment law, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
